Gus Hansen back at the online tables, Moorman collects another Triple Crown
June and July are usually the slowest months at the online high-stakes cash game tables, but by August, some of the regulars are already done with their post-WSOP vacation, and ready to get back into the action. Gus Hansen is off to a nice start, but Isildur1 is on a big downswing that erased most of the money he managed to win this summer.

The online action was mostly happening on the draw tables, and Hansen has accumulated profits of over $320,000 over 3304 hands. The biggest winner of the month so far has been Trueteller with over $710,000, most of which came from the draw games. Samrostan also won $486,000 over 5247 hands.
Isildur1 has been grinding all summer, and he was making nice profits also, but August has been a catastrophe for the Swedish player, he lost more than $750,000 in just under 5000 hands. It seems like one of the Full Tit Poker professionals is always in a huge downswing, they have topped the "Biggest Losers of the Month" list a combined 5 times this year.
Besides Isildur1, both Alexander "PostflopAction" Kostritsyn ($533,000 over 2671 hands) and Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond ($475,000 over 3829 hands) were the big losers of the month.
At the tournament tables, MTT legend Chris "Moorman1" Moorman has won the 21th Triple Crown of his career. To win the Triple Crown, a player has to win 3 different tournaments in a span of 7 days. Each tournament must have at least 100 entrants and a $10,000 prizepool.
Moorman usually starts with smaller rooms when he goes after the Triple Crown, and this time was no exception, he shipped a Paddy Power Poker $30 rebuy tournament for $3689 on July 30, which he followed up with a win of "The Benjamin" on FTP for $6578 on August 2, then he sealed the deal with a win in the $376 buy-in Winamax Highroller for $20,008. Moorman leads the Triple Crown leaderboard with his 21 Triple Crown, and the next on the list, Belabacsi is way behind him with 11 Triple Crowns, but he is not opted in on tracking sites, so it's possible he has acquired some more that we don't know about.
