LAPT Bahamas Main Event - Josh Kay defeats Martin Finger to claim the title

American Josh Kay won the Latin America Poker Tour (LAPT) Bahamas Main Event after defeating a field which included of Martin Finger, Stefan ''mindgamer'' Jedlicka, Mustapha Kanit, Galen Hall, Taylor Paur and Dimitar Danchev.

11 players started the final day of the $3,000 LAPT Bahamas Main Event with Josh Kay in the lead.

The first player to bust was Kyle Frey and he was soon followed by Aaron Massey, Galen Hall, Mustapha Kanit and Jonathan Borenstein.

2013 PCA Main Event champion Dimitar Danchev shoved his short stack with Q-T suited, Martin Finger called with A-T and hit an ace to send Danchev packing.

Taylor ''taypaur'' Paur lost his stack on a 5-7-A-5-9 board with AQ against Martin Finger who was playing with A-7. Jose Carlos Garcia finished in fourth place, his A-6 failed to improve against Jedlicka's A-Q. Jedlicka couldn't keep the momentum alive and busted soon after with A-2 against Finger's 7-7.

Even though Finger started the heads-up with the chiplead, Kay managed to turn it around and eventually won the tournament.

In the final hand of the event, he flopped a set with 9-9 on an 8-5-9 flop and they got all the money in the Ten on the turn, which improved Finger's A-T to a top pair. The river was a Queen and with that Kay won the $367,928 first prize!
