PokerStars WCOOP Twitter Promotion

In the promotion players can win tickets to WCOOP Steps qualifiers as well as take part in a special WCOOP freeroll.  From today onwards, PokerStars will be issuing challenges and tweeting questions on their Twitter account (@PokerStars), and players who complete the challenges or answer the questions correctly will be entered in a draw. Today's challenge is to re-tweet the message "Good Luck in WCOOP".

The tickets won can be used to enter any Stage 2 Step qualifier. Some of the Steps will offer $109 tickets to the top two spots, and other Step qualifiers will advance players to Step Stage 3 where they can aim to qualify for bigger buy-in WCOOP  events.

If you want to push your limits and try yourself in the biggest online tournament of the year, you can climb to the WCOOP Step 6, where the top3 players out of a 9 player sit-n-go will get a ticket to the $5,200 WCOOP Main Event, which has a $10 million guarantee.

PokerStars will also be hosting a freeroll on Saturday 27th September with a minimum guaranteed prizepool of $5,000. The freeroll is open to any player who deposits at least $10 between now and September 27 using the PokerStars bonus code "TwitterWCOOP". The prizepool will be increased by $500 every day of the promotion if a certain number of correct entries are received for the challenges/questions, and since there are 10 challenges, the prizepool could reach $10,000.

The WCOOP is a huge success so far, the guarantees were beat by more than 50% ($4.2 million guaranteed, $6.7 million prizepools),  the biggest winner so far is Czech player "whipEEr" who won almost $270,000 for his WCOOP #3 Sunday Million Special Edition win.

Today's lineup consists of WCOOP #10, a $215 PLO Knockout tournament with $150,000 guaranteed, event #11, a $320 Ante Up tournament with $200,000 guaranteed and a $215 NLHE Heads-up tournament with $250,000 guaranteed, with event #9, the Super Tuesday Special Edition, a $1,050 buy-in tournament with $1 million guaranteed, is continuing play from yesterday.
