Rational FT Enterprises sues Erick Lindgren for $2.5 million

The company behind PokerStars and Full Tilt, Rational FT Enterprises, has stated that the former Full Tilt pro is yet to pay back a $531,000 loan and $2 million that was mistakenly sent to his account.

Erick "E-Dog" Lindgren was one of the biggest names in poker for years, he has two WSOP and two WPT titles, his career live tournament earnings exceed $10 million. His poker skills have not diminished throughout the years, he final tabled the WSOP $10,000 6-handed event last year, in 2013 he won a WSOP bracelet in the WSOP $5,000 NLHE 6-handed event and also finished runner-up in the $25,000 WPT World Championship for $650,275.

In the past few years, people mostly talked about his gambling addiction and massive debts that he has accumulated. In 2012 he declared Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

He also confirmed that he has owed $2.4 million to Full Tilt and since the company was bought by PokerStars, he now owes them.

Rational FT Enterprises, the company behind PokerStars and Full Tilt has recently sued Lindgren, they stated that he still owes them $2.531.807. According to the company, Full Tilt management mistakenly sent Lindgren's $2 million salary twice in April 2011 (he was receiving $250,000 every month) which he has not yet repaid.

Lindgren also owes $531,807 to Full Tilt, which the company sent him for buy-ins for live events.

The Rational FT Enterprises legal team has stated that they have already tried to get the money in 2012 but they weren't able to. Even though Lindgren declared bankruptcy, he confirmed that the claim is valid, but the money was not seized during the bankruptcy process.

Rational FT Enterprises also seeks compensation for conversion and has also accused Lindgren of unjust enrichment.
