WPT World Championship - Yoon, Dunst and Mortensen amongst final 6

Season XIII of the World Poker Tour will end with an incredible final table, as WPT Cyprus winner Alexander Lakhov, two-time WSOP bracelet winner Brian Yoon, Tony "Bond18" Dunst and Carlos Mortensen have all made the final table of the $15,400 buy-in World Championship. Players will continue the battle for the $973,000 first place prize today from 4pm ET, check out the live stream of the final table in the article!

23 players returned for Day 4 of the WPT World Championship, the chip leader was Asher Conniff with 1.275 million chips and there were plenty of big names left in the field including defending champion Keven Stammen, Alexander Lakhov, Brock Parker, Jake Schindler, Carlos Mortensen, Tony Dunst and Michael Rocco.

The first player to bust was Simon Lam, he was soon followed by Sang Kim, Abe Aboukhalil, Sungwon Lee, Dean Baranowski, Oleg Shnaider, Ian O'Hara, David Tuthill, Michael Lavoie, Matt Berkey, Zo Karim, Hans Winzeler, Michael Rocco and Nathan Bjerno.

Keven Stammen was eliminated in 9th place, he shoved all-in with A-Q from the small blind for 350,000 over Ray Qartomy's 75,000 button raise (Level 22, 12k/24k-4k ante) and Qartomy called with 6-6, which held up on the T-9-7-5-5 board.

During Level 23 (15k/30k-5k ante) Mortensen raised to 90,000 from the small blind, PCA High Roller champion Jake Schindler shoved all-in for 230,000 with A-6 suited and Mortensen called with A-K. The J-T-4-J-9 board brought no help to Schindler and he was eliminated in 8th place.

Three-time WSOP bracelet winner Brock Parker finished as the final table bubble, he shoved all-in for 560,000 with A-K from UTG during Level 24 (20k-40k-5k ante), Conniff called with 9-9 and Parker couldn't improve his hand on the Q-Q-3-7-4 board.

The chip leader of the 6-handed final table will be WPT Cyprus champion Alexander Lakhov, but the competition is extremely fierce with Brian Yoon, Tony Dunst, who has made back-to-back World Championship final tables, and Carlos Mortensen, the most successful player in WPT history, who has won 3 titles and $6.447.960 in his years on the WPT circuit.

The final table will be live streamed on the World Poker Tour Twitch channel from 4pm ET, check it out below!
