Jimmy Fricke Says Aces of Spades are Marked at the Bellagio

2007 Aussie Millions 2nd finisher Jimmy Fricke claims that every single ace of spades is easily recognisable from its back at the Bellagio.

US poker pro Jimmy Fricke has recently tweeted that certain cards are marked at the Bellagio, what is more, they are used even in the highest stakes games:

“Every single ace of spades is marked at Bellagio and no one gives a shit at all. I've pointed it out in 10ks and big cash and no one cares,” he wrote.

Fricke claims that the cards become marked due to their storage conditions as the A is on the bottom of the pack and it is warped under the weight of the rest. Therefore, the pro can admittedly easily recognise the aces of spades, gaining an unfair advantage over his opponents.

“Screw this. I get into a pot where I know my opponent has the As after I've told the table they're all marked. I feel like a cheater.”

Fricke added on his Twitter that once he even pulled off a bluff he would have never dared to try, had he not known his opponent had the A .

This is not the first time players complain about the cards in Las Vegas; for instance, a deck was found short of one during the last WSOP. Ultimately, the question arises how come that no due attention is paid to the single most important tool of live poker, even though we talk about a million dollar business...
