Nanonoko To Break a Guinness Record at PCA 2012

PokerStars pro Randy 'nanonoko' Lew is in a competive mood; he stated he wants to set a new Guinness World Record at the 2012 PCA. Which record to break, however, he leaves the poker community to decide. One of the most prestigious poker tournaments in the year, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) 2012 kicks off on 5 January. Of course nanonoko will be there, but he wants to up the ante by wanting to break a Guinness Record. However, he doesn't yet know which record he will break, he called the poker community to decide.

PokerStars' VIP manager posted the following to call to a popular poker forum yesterday:

"Randy 'nanonoko' Lew will attempt to set or break a
Guinness World Record at this year's PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. What the record will be is currently unknown.

We would like to have Two Plus Two's input on what Randy attempts. The record should be poker authentic (and preferably online poker authentic) while being easily understood by the public.

Take ElkY's record of "MOST ONLINE POKER TABLES PLAYED IN ONE HOUR". ElkY set this record by playing 62 Sit & Go Tournaments within an hour while making a profit. The difference between what ElkY accomplished and what the record book says is quite large. The average person would not understand the record "MOST SIT & GO TOURNAMENTS PLAYED IN ONE HOUR" or exactly why having a profit-clause is important."

PokerStars emphasized that it is important that the record to be set or broken be easily understood and appreciated by non-poker players.

They also offered a $215 entry to this Sunday's Sunday Million to the favourite idea posted.

Of course there were already a few interesting suggestions posted including "longest time standing on head while playing online poker", "most sushi eaten while 24 table NL 6-max midstakes in 24h period.", "most tables played with profit while riding a exercise bike." or "most hands with profit in an hour without looking at cards".

Lew is one of the most acknowledged multi-table pros in the world, he played almost 5 million hands on PokerStars since 2008, and earned $2,3 million according to PokerTableRatings. In itself, it is already a great performance, but it seems nanonoko is not satisfied; we are curious what he will come up with.
