EPT Confirms Five Stops for Season 11 Schedule

The 11th season of the European Poker Tour (EPT) kicks off in Barcelona this August. Additionally, London, Prague, Deauville and Monte Carlo have been confirmed for the next run of the European series.

Five stops with dates have been confirmed for the schedule of the 11th season of the European Poker Tour. The opening is held in Barcelona between 16-27 August, which also happens to be the 100th stop in the history of the series. Participants can therefore expect a major poker festival, which will include the events of the Estrellas Poker Tour for an even wider variety.

"The EPT was born in Barcelona so it's very fitting to celebrate EPT's 100th event in true style and with unforgettable poker. EPT Barcelona is one of the most popular tour stops and attracts players from all over the world for the fantastic mix of beaches, iconic architecture, party atmosphere and world class poker," said EPT President Edgar Stuchly.

EPT then goes to London from 8 to 18 October, Prague from 7 to 17 December, Deauville from 28 January to 7 February 2015 and Monte Carlo from 29 April to 8 May 2015. All stops will also host smaller series, including the UKIPT in London, the Eureka in Prague and the France Poker Series (FPS) in Deauville and Monte Carlo.

Other additions include the introduction of the €200 Senior Event for players over 50, the decrease of the buy-in for the Ladies Event from €300 to €200 and the largest online satellite offer ever, including qualifiers for the new Championship Events in HORSE, Stud and Omaha games. Fun events introduced in Season 10, including Deuces Wild and Crazy Pineapple, also make a return.

As far as Main Events are concerned, one change has been confirmed so far: the buy-in of the EPT London Main Event is reduced to £4,000 + £250.

Confirmed stops of EPT Season 11 are as follows:

  • EPT Barcelona: 16-27 August 2014; Main Event: 21-27 August 2014
  • EPT London: 8-18 October 2014; Main Event: 12-18 October 2014
  • EPT Prague: 7-17 December 2014; Main Event: 11-17 December 2014
  • EPT Deauville: 28 January - 7 February 2015; Main Event: 1-7 February 2015
  • EPT Grand Final: 29 April - 8 May 2015; Main Event: 2-8 May 2015
