Last November, Caesars Entertainment announced that the WSOP Europe and WSOP APAC series were going to take place on a rotational basis in the future, each being held in every other year. This year, the Asia-Pacific is up and the WSOPE returns in 2015.

This week, Caesars Entertainment has released the official schedule of the WSOP APAC 2014. From 2 to 18 October, there are ten gold bracelet events running at the Crown Melbourne Casino.

"Bigger and better is the best way to describe the 2014 WSOP Asia-Pacific. New events at modest price points like the Dealer's Choice and Terminator No-Limit Hold’em, plus an expansion of overall events and a move to springtime in Melbourne is designed to encourage the North American and European contingent to make this a can’t-miss event” WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart commented.

Buy-ins range from A$1,100 to A$25,000. The first event is the A$1,100 No Limit Hold’em Accumulator with three Day 1s and an option for players to participate in any or all of them. If you manage to qualify for Day 2 on multiple Day 1s, your stacks will be merged.

A brand new tournament is the A$1,650 Terminator No Limit Hold’em, where each player has a bounty on them. If you eliminate someone, you get their $500 bounty coin, or Terminator Coin; as a result, even players who do not make it in the money can cash in a nice sum if they go Terminator and eliminate as many opponents as possible.
