The eight-handed Final Table was formed after Matthew Kelly, David Brooker, Robert Goldfarb and six times WSOP champion Ted Forrest got eliminated. In addition to Anderson, Jimmy Fricke and Joe Tehan were also at the table, to name a few notables.

The seat draw was as follows:

Seat 1: Sanjay Pandya – 432,000
Seat 2: Levon Torosyan – 141,000
Seat 3: John Myung – 242,000
Seat 4: Eric Kurtzman – 403,000
Seat 5: Jimmy Fricke – 305,000
Seat 6: Calvin Anderson – 328,000
Seat 7: Melissa Barr – 67,000
Seat 8: Joe Tehan – 648,000

John Myung was out first, and then Fricke lost a major pot to Anderson to be left with only 26,000 in chips on Level 23 (3,000/15,000/30,000). He pushed against Tehan and got 9-A-9 to his A-3/6. Unfortunately for him, Tehan got 8-2/8-Q-8-T for a drill and the 7th street came neutral. Tehan went on to eliminate Sanjay Pandya and Melissa Barr but his high variance game left him with just 300,000 in the 4-handed game.

On Level 25 (5,000/25,000/50,000), three players made it to the 6th street:

Anderson: (X-X) / ADiamond TSpade TClubs 6Spade
Torosyan: (X-X) / 2Heart 3Spade 3Heart AHeart
Kurtzman: (X-X) / 7Spade TDiamond 4Diamond 8Clubs

Levon Torosyan bet, Eric Kurtzman folded, Anderson raised, Torosyan re-raised, Anderson shoved and Torosyan called. He showed JHeart 6Heart for a flush but Anderson held A-T for a full house. Torosyan could still get the low pot but the KHeart on the river did not help him.

Anderson then eliminated Kurtzman to from the heads-up with Tehan.

Calvin Anderson – 1,890,000
Joe Tehan – 756,000

Anderson managed to increase the pressure on Tehan and, as a result, the latter had only 20,000 before him to push in in the last hand on Level 26 (7,000/30,000/60,000):

Tehan: 5Spade 2Diamond 3Clubs
Anderson: 8Diamond 4Heart 6Heart

Tehan was playing for the low but the JDiamond did not help him in that, unlike a perfect 8Clubs for Anderson. On the 5th street, Tehan got a 2Heart for a pair and Anderson the 5Heart for both a low and a straight draw. On the 6th, the 9Diamond was once again bad for Tehan and Anderson improved to two pair with the 4Clubs. The KHeart for Tehan sealed the game.

Calvin Anderson boasts $5.5 million in online MTT winnings and he has just started collecting live titles to his numerous online ones.

End results:

1st: Calvin Anderson – $190,538
2nd: Joe Tehan – $118,014
3rd: Eric Kurtzman – $79,800
4th: Levon Torosyan – $55,319
5th: Melissa Burr – $39,181
6th: Sanjay Pandya – $28,346
7th: Jimmy Fricke – $20,932
8th: John Myung – $15,772
