Play commenced on Level 19 and first out was Arthur Pro, going all-in on Rhys Jones’ shove with A-T. The board came 9-8-2-A and Pro was ahead against Jones’ Q-T but a cooler jack on the river completed Jones’ straight and Pro was out in 9th.

Next it was start-of-the-day chipleader Joseph’s turn, and then Herbert Yarbrough and D'Angelo followed in a fast pace. On Level 22, Levy joined the rail in 5th, his hand getting cracked by Jones’ flush. The latter moved on to eliminate Naydenov as well, a mere five hands later.

Still, it was Jones whose elimination marked the beginning of the heads-up, following a long 3-handed play. On Level 24, he shoved against Jesse McEuen and the latter’s flopped T-8 two pair held out.

Jonas Lauck – 1,970,000
Jesse McEuen – 1,245,000

McEuen managed to turn the tide and he was ahead in the last hand: on Level 25, they moved all-in preflop.
