Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open - Daniel Colman is the Main Event champion

The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open final table was full of excitement, but when Dan Colman is at the table with a big stack, the results are pretty much already in the envelope. The 23-year old is having arguably the sickest run in the history of poker, winning more than $21 million in 2014.

The players started the final table with the following seating and chipstacks.

Seat 1: Martin Hanowski - 5.21 million

Seat 2: Joe Kuether - 7.01 million

Seat 3: Dan Colman - 10.23 million

Seat 4: Shawn Cunix - 4.87 million

Seat 5: Mike Leah - 15.45 million

Seat 6: John Dolan  - 2.04 million

The first casuality was Martin Hanowski, he lost a big pot against Dan Colman then lost a coinflip with KQ suited against Dolan's JJ.

The next one to go was Joe Kuether, he limped then called with J9 of diamonds on the button against Dan Colman's raise from the small blind. On the J53 flop Colman continued for about half the pot, Kuether jammed and Colman snapped him off with AA. The turn 5 and the river 6 were no help to Kuether.

The next player out the door was former November Niner John Dolan. He limped in the small blind with J8 of hearts, and Colman checked his option in the big blind. Both players checked the 984 rainbow flop, and Dolan checked on the 2 turn also, then called Colman's bet. On the 3 river, Dolan checked for the third time, and Colman put him all-in. Dolan tanked for a long time before making the call, but he was out when Colman showed 65 for a rivered straight.

The next player to bust was Cunix, he called Colman's button raise, and Mike "GoLeafsGoEh Leah squeezed from the big blind. Colman called, Cunix went all-in, Leah folded, and Colman made the call.

Cunix had the K7, suited in spades, while Colman had AT, which easily held up on the AT9Q8 board.

Colman started the heads-up with around 25.45 million chips, Leah was not far behind with 19.55 million.

Colman won a huge pot early on in the heads-up battle, he rivered a full house on the Q5539 board with 95, and got paid off by Leah, who most likely had 53 or 33 (only one of his hole cards was seen on the live stream).

Mike Leah

After this, the battle didn't last very long, in the final hand Leah raised to 600,000 (blinds at 150,000/300,000/50,000 ante), Colman reraised to 1.5 million, Leah went all-in with 11.65 million and Colman snapcalled.

Leah had the QJ of clubs, while Colman was holding AK, which held up on the 432TK board. Colman's reaction was nothing unusual, he tried to force a smile on himself, with little success, and he started checking his phone right away.

With his $1.44 million win, Colman now has more than $21 million in winnings this year, while Mike Leah had by far the biggest score of his career so far.
