Phil Ivey will discuss the "Edge Sorting" lawsuits on 60 Minutes

Phil Ivey is currently battling two casinos which have accused him of cheating and withheld his winnings. On October 7, Ivey will discuss the lawsuits and defend himself in 60 Minutes Sports with James Brown. CBS News released a teaser from the show that you can check out in the article.

CBS News filmed the trailer at this year's World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, where they followed Ivey around for a couple of days. As it has been widely discussed before, Phil Ivey has sued the Crockfords Casino after they withheld his winnings of 7.8 million GBP, believing he cheated. Not even a year later, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa filed a lawsuit against Ivey, claiming he cheated at the casino when he won $9.6 million in four seperate sessions.

Ivey has admitted to a practice called "edge sorting", but he claims it was the casinos responsibility that they fulfilled his requests regarding how the cards are dealt and shuffled. Pretty much every one in the legal and poker world agrees with Ivey at this point, if you would like to read about some of the arguments Daniel Negreanu has which support Ivey, check out this article.
