Daniel ''jungleman12'' Cates finds out about Frequent Player Points

We have written plenty of times about Daniel ''jungleman12'' Cates before. This time he amazed the poker community by claiming no idea that he got Frequent Player Points (FPPs) by playing on PokerStars.com. Apparently he has amassed over 4 million FPPs worth around $100,000.

Daniel ''jungleman12'' Cates is one of the best cash game players in the world, he has won more than $10 million on Full Tilt Poker since 2009. He also has impressive results on PokerStars, having won $844,000 under his w00kiez nickname. He was the most profitable player in 2010 and leads the money-list this year aswell.

He is also one of the best at Heads Up Sit & Goes, he has won $365,000 this year in the format.

Even though Full Tilt Poker is his main site, he plays a lot on PokerStars aswell. That's why it's so unbelievable that he apparently had absolutely no knowledge about the PokerStars VIP System. He tweeted the following yesterday:

''So apparently you get bonuses for playing a bunch of stars. Turns out i had 4M fpps and vip player bonuses... like 100K worth lol''

Nobody is sure whether Dan is serious or just trolling his Twitter followers, but knowing his previous stories it's entirely that he didn't know about the bonus, from which he could actually buy a Porsche Cayman S from the PokerStars Shop, and still have 900,000 FPPs left.
