Jared Huggins Will Be on the Big Game

It seems that after Jared Huggins, the homeless poker player who lost everything, made money by giving out free hugs and then, with the support of many poker pros like Daniel Negreanu and the whole 2+2 community, auditioning for The Big Game, has now finally made it: he will be playing on PokerStars' TV show. On 2+2, PokerStars representative 'PokerStars Steve' psoted the names of the 7 Loose Cannons who will be on The Big Game, shot in February.

He wrote the following:

"The seven Loose Cannons scheduled for the February, 2011 taping of The PokerStars.net Big Game are:
Gonzales Cannon II - Sacramento, CA
Courtney Gee - Vancouver BC
Jared Huggins - Los Angeles, CA
Massimiliano Martinez - Rome, Italy
Cari Bershell - Las Vegas, NV
Kenneth Hrankowski - Vancouver BC
Anton Dunyushkin - Moscow, Russia"

Turning Huggins down before shocked the community, including his most dedicated supporters, e.g. Daniel Negreanu. Now the issue seems settled; however, 'PokerStars Steve' added that not all 7 players might be able to play, in case one of them decided to come back for a second day.

We wish him all the best; perhaps DN will be generous enough to "donate" some of his stack during the game.
