The IveyPoker.com website, a coaching enterprise with the promise of teaching everyone how to win, is still being developed and is currently in “the final stages of developing an innovative social poker game that also provides poker training content from some of the world's top pros.” The aforementioned, respectful list of players is now joined by Dan Shak.

Shak is best known for his hobby attitude towards poker (being manager of his company named SHK Management for a living) as well as for his generosity in regularly donating a percentage of his winnings to charity. The US player began to play poker in 2004 and was quick to win a total sum of $4.1 million in live tournaments, including a A$100,000 Aussie Millions Poker Championship victory for $1.1 million in 2010 and an 8th finish in the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $98,000 Super High-Roller for $228,960 earlier this year.

“I have always insisted that poker is a hobby for me and have consistently turned down any business offers related to it. But, when Phil asked me if I wanted to join Team Ivey, I was more than prepared to make an exception. Phil is not only a good friend but also the best poker player in the world, if you ask me,” Shak commented the news of him signing up to the IveyPoker.com team.
