The shorter sessions of Durrrr Challenge 2 of late slightly favoured Tom ’durrrr’ Dwan, although not enough to get him significantly closer to jungleman. Even this slight compensation is now neutralised, as in 45 minutes and 346 hands, he lost $110,037 to Daniel Cates.

The two biggest pots were over $80,000 during the six table game ($200/$400 NLHE HU). Both were won by jungleman with flush; in both cases, jungleman kept attacking and durrrr called, going all-in on the river and mucking when jungleman showed his hand.

Durrrr’s technique apparently surprised some: playing calling station the whole session long, he adopted a style definitely unusual for him. However, he is not very likely to be afraid of raising and reraising; rather, he must be experimenting with new strategies, as his former play did not prove to be of much use against jungleman. Frankly, neither did the new, so far. Still, it is way too early to draw long-term conclusions after a modest 346 hands.

45 minutes into the game, durrrr declared the session over, saying he was tired after over 15 hours of poker. 10,219 hands of Durrrr Challenge 2 have so far been played in total, with jungleman12 profiting $755,612.
