Durrrr & Ivey Back from Macau

As I already reported, Tom 'durrrr' Dwan and other poker pros like Phil Ivey and John Juanda were playing against Chinese businessmen at Macau cash game tables. The game ended last night, and the pros headed back home, supposedly with lots of cash on them.

Dwan started high stakes ($4000/8000) on November 18th at the StarWorld Casino in Macau. The game went bad for Dwan at first, his Chinese oppenent being a constant loser, managed to win the first heads-up againt Dwan, who handed him over $2,5 million.

The second heads-up however brought victory to the young american player, who cashed around $9 million, according to 2+2 forum user, voycontodo, who was at the scene.

Sure, neither the Chinese businessmen nor the pros are happy about specific numbers surfacing, many of the 'bloggers' have been warned to stop their constant broadcasting at 2+2. Hence, the numbers mentioned above are very unreliable. However, according to their info, despite his huge victory on Sunday, durrrr might still be down in the heads-up. This is very interesting, I don't really see how can he be down with $2,5 million loss and $9 million win, but there are other high stakes players there, who might influence the game...

According to the latest post by APT's tournament director Matt Savage, Phil Ivey already left Macau and is currently in the United States. Durrrr told him he'll stay a little more just to relax. He has some time until but soon has to be in the US for the filming of High Stakes Poker Season 7. Savage tells readers both Ivey and durrrr finished the cash games with profit.
