Isildur is Up $2 Million in July

Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom is in a huge upswing again: in the first two weeks of July, he has won a total of $2 million at the online high stakes tables. His annual profit is now over $5 million.

Last Thursday, Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom scooped in a total of $696,310 in winnings and he has been very active since: on Friday and Saturday, he came about breakeven but, on Sunday, he added another $525,291 to his bankroll. Playing at $250/$500 NLHE and $500/$1,000 CAP PLO tables, he took down the largest pot of the day as well.

In a $250/$500 NLHE five-handed game, ‘Trueteller’ in the SB sat out and ‘Rhje’ posted the BB. ‘Samrostan’ raised to $1,350 from UTG, ‘Isildur1’ on his left 3-bet to $4,500, ‘Denoking’ folded and ‘MalACEsia’ shoved his $71,956. ‘Rhje’ folded, ‘samrostan’ re-raised all-in to $164,552 and ‘Isildur1’ called from a bigger stack.

The trip kings were worth a $401,761 addition to Blom’s stack.

The Swede refused to stop on Monday, either: after a 1,343 hands long session, he once again left the tables as the biggest winner of the day. Winning at his NLHE, PLO, FLO8 as well as 27TD tables, he scooped in a total of $653,464. The biggest pot of the day once again went to him in a $400/$800 NLHE HU game against ‘bbvisbadforme’.

‘Isildur1’ opened to $2,400, ‘bbvisbadforme’ called and the flop came K 4 5. ‘Bbvisbadforme’ check-called Blom’s $4,000 bet and the turn came 3. ‘Bbvisbadforme’ then check-raised to $35,200 on a $12,000 bet from ‘Isildur1’ and the Swede called. On the K river, ‘bbvisbadforme’ bet 120,000, ‘Isildur1’ moved all-in with $222,270 and ‘bbvisbadforme’ folded, having $61,097 left. ‘Isildur1’ won the $323,750 pot without a showdown.

Due to his performance on Sunday and Monday, Viktor Blom is now up over $2 million in July and over $5 million this year.
