Moorman1 Takes Over Online MTT World List Lead

Barely a month after setting his goal, Chris Moorman has achieved it: he has become the leader of the online multi-table tournament world list.

The past one month or so have been definitely all about Chris Moorman in the online MTT world. The British pro has been among the very elite of the game since the golden years of online poker but, since focusing more on live games, he has not been around the top since October 2011, although he has never entirely left the higher registers of the world list.

This September, he did re-emerge to the very top by closing in on and eventually surpassing the $10 million mark in total online MTT winnings. Meanwhile, he set up a new challenge for himself: becoming number one by the end of this year.

At the time, he still had three months to get there and probably not even he hoped for an October that he eventually booked. In just about one month, he scooped in four Triple Crown titles, meaning 12 tournament victories, and he has reached several ITM finishes and final tables, adding up a score that was enough to beat his greatest rivals, Calvin ‘cal42688’ Anderson and Caio ‘pessagno’ Pessagno.

While doing so, he has broken yet another record: he is the first player to book 6,000 registered ITM finishes with a current track of 6,046.

The online MTT world standings are currently as follows:

1sz: Chris ‘moorman1’ Moorman – 7,824 points
