Patpatman Wins $514k in PLO Session

‘Patpatman’ played a 7 hours long PLO session earlier this week, crushing his opponents.

‘Patpatman,’ whom many believe to be Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan, started the 2012 online high stakes season exceptionally well, leading the profit list in January with $858,821. However, the great kick-off turned into an equally large downswing and ‘patpatman’ dropped to the bottom of the list with $835,139 in losses at the beginning of September, continuing to lose.

Come the beginning of this week, however, he managed to reduce his losses significantly, winning $514,080 in a seven hours long $200/$400 PLO session, clashing with the likes of ‘Ilari FIN,’ ‘broksi,’ ‘Ben86,’ monthly high stakes list leader ‘Odd_Oddsen,’ ‘FaKeOrReaL,’ ‘Jeans89’ and ‘1Il|1Il|1il|.’ He won his biggest pot against ‘Ilari FIN.’

‘Ilari FIN’ sat in the SB, ‘broksi’ in the BB at the 5-handed table. ‘Jeans89’ and ‘Ben86’ folded, ‘patpatman’ opened to $1,200 from position, ‘Ilari FIN’ 3-bet to $4,200, ‘broksi’ folded, ‘patpatman’ called. The flop came 4 Q K , ‘Ilari FIN’ checked, ‘patpatman’ bet $6,800, ‘Ilari FIN’ called. The turn was 8 , ‘Ilari FIN’ checked, ‘patpatman’ bet $17,800, ‘Ilari FIN’ raised to $76,595, ‘patpatman’ shoved his remaining $98,075 and ‘Ilari FIN’ called.

‘Patpatman’ won the $219,185 pot with three queens.

Despite the huge pot, it was not ‘Ilari FIN’ but ‘broksi’, or Gus Hansen, who lost the most during the session, saying goodbye to $417,176. ‘Odd_Oddsen’ continues to lead the monthly money list with $616,623 in profit in 26,817 hands, more than anybody else has played so far in September at the high stakes tables.
