Win the Golden Ticket with Phil Hellmuth

Phil Hellmuth's autobiography Poker Brat is set to be released on August 1st - you can pre-order the hardcover version for the modest prize of $16.48 on Amazon. And if you're really lucky you can get some "extra EV" on that - 8 randomly selected books have a "golden ticket" in them that get you in a private tournament with the Poker Brat himself.

Hellmuth has authored many books on poker strategy either by himself - Bad Beats and Lucky Draws - or contributed to one with a plethora of other poker experts - Jonathan Little's Excelling at No-Limit Hold'em - but his newest work is not about how to play your cards right - it's all about the man with the most WSOP bracelets of all time and his life.

Hellmuth grew up in Wisconsin where he was friends with the tragic comedian Chris Farley in his elementary school years. He dropped out of University of Wisconsin to become a full-time professional poker player and ultimately becoming one of the best ever.

In an interview promoting his book with pokernews.com the 6'7'' giant revealed that there are two chapters dedicated to his marriage, one where he explains how he almost left his wife, and another one which is about the time his wife almost left him. Looks like things weren't always as merry in the Hellmuth household even though in a recent hangout on Doug Polk's YouTube channel Hellmuth bragged that he's in fact never ever cheated on his spouse.

Hellmuth's giving incentives other than stories from his love life for his audience to buy his book: 8 random books contain a golden ticket which gets you a $1,000 buy-in to a private tournament at Aria in Las Vegas with Hellmuth on May 19, 2018; two free nights at the hotel, and a bottle of Kimo Sabe Mezcal tequila as a welcome drink. This promo is similar to the one Daniel Negreanu held on his YouTube channel
