Gigi Gagne begin the WPT Seminole Hard Rock $3,500 main event 6-handed final table in the chiplead; her victory would have been the first in the history of the series. In the second place was Matt Juttelstad, who had been in the lead on Day 2 but was forced behind by Gagne on Day 3.

The setup of the final table was as follows:

Keith Ferrera was the first to be eliminated, losing a flip to Juttelstad; then, following a long 5-handed session, Todd Jacobson said goodbye, leaving his chips before Sharon Levin. Nevertheless, Levin finished in 4th place, pushing his 810,000 in chips with {#}A {#}3 preflop at Level 25 (5,000/20,000/40,000). Gagne called with {#}A {#}T and the board came neutral. Two levels later, they played it down to the heads-up, with Uri Kadosh being eliminated by Juttelstad’s pair of aces.

At level 29 (10,000/40,000/80,000), the event was over: Juttelstad limped with 80,000, Gagne checked and the flop came {#}5 {#}3 {#}2 . Gagne bet 300,000, Juttelstad called and the turn was {#}A . Gagne pushed and Juttelstad insta-called with his {#}6 {#}4 for a straight. Gagne showed an under straight with T4 for a minor chance of splitting the pot; the {#}8 on the river could not save her, however, so the WPT remains without a female champion for now.
