Steven Morris and Mike Englert take down events on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean
Both players hit their biggest live score ever by taking down the tournaments.
Only a few days past by since the Partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Germany has ended but most of the poker world is already on the grind. Many players, who participated in the LIVE MILLIONS festival in King's Casino, flew directly to Dusk Till Dawn Casino, Nottingham. Morris outlasted a field of 40 with players like Tom Middleton ($3,168,759 in live tournament earnings) and Chris Brammer ($1,849,282 in total earnings) as well as MILLIONS Germany champions, Michael Zhang and Dominik Nitsche.
However, both of the last two fell before the finals, unlike Middleton, who added $30,792 to his account by finishing 4th. Morris, who finished the first day as the chip leader, was able to secure the title and the $97,970 first prize for himself after defeating Nishid Hindocha in the heads-up. Even though Nishid started the duel as a 2-to-1 chip leader, Steven was able to turn the table around. Considering that this was the biggest payday for Hindocha too, he's probably pretty happy with the results.
Final results
Place | Player | Country | Payout |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Steven Morris | United Kingdom | $97,970 |
2 | Nishid Hindocha | United Kingdom | $62,984 |

4 | Tom Middleton | United Kingdom | $30,792 |

As the $1,100 UKPC Main Event and the £2,200 UKPC High Roller are yet to be started, some exciting action is expected in the following days.
Michael Englert
$1,650 No Limit Hold'em - Main Event
On the other side of the ocean, in Coloroda more specifically, Michael Englert had the last laugh, as he scooped the $200,762 prize and the title in the Golden Gates Casino. He managed to beat 606 of his opponents. John "KasinoKrime" Beauprez was the biggest name on the final table, even though, he's considered more of a PLO than a Hold'em specialist. John busted in 3rd place, for an $81,288 score, while Matt Bond lost the heads-up against Englert, to cash in on his $124,028 paycheck.
