Vinkyy Takes Over Online MTT World List 1st Position

As expected, Chris ‘moorman1’ Moorman got ahead of Calvin ‘cal42688’ Anderson on the online multi-table tournament world list but it is actually Ondrej ‘Vinkyy’ Vinklarek, who managed to grab the lead.

Chris ‘moorman1’ Moorman has been delivering astonishing results one after the other, including three Triple Crowns in October only. It has consequently been expected that he would take over the lead from Calvin ‘cal42688’ Anderson in the online MTT world rankings. With the latest update, he did indeed get ahead of Cal – but falls short of leading the list regardless. The two of them busy competing each other, Czech Ondrej ‘Vinkyy’ Vinklarek managed to grab the lead from both, ranking 1st for the first time in his career.

‘Vinkyy’ has booked a wide range of major scores recently, including a FTP Saturday Six-Max victory for $10,584, a PS $109 NLHE 1st finish for $8,978, a PS.fr Hot €100 event victory for €4,733 and a 2nd finish in the FTP $250,000 Guarantee for $43,129. Additionally, he won the PartyPoker $10,000 GTD Speed tournament for $3,410. All this between 12 and 22 October.

Competition among the very top players of the world rankings has long since been so though; ‘Vinkyy’ is leading with 7,888 points, only 52 points ahead of Moorman and 65 ahead of Anderson. In fact, current 4th finisher ‘pessagno’ is not far behind, either, with 7,546 points, although he would need more than a single deep run to take over.

It is likely the players will make a cause of finishing 1st, so we are in for one exciting run in the remaining weeks of the year.
